You can buy cheaper cuts of meat, just cook them longer in the crock pot for tenderness.

Eat oatmeal for breakfast instead of expensive cold cereal. Overnight cooking oatmeal in the crock pot makes it easy as cold cereal in the morning.

Darn your own socks.

Mend your own clothes if you can.

Instead of throwing out a shirt or pants with a noticeable stain...dye them another color.

Use your library to check out books, audio books, music, dvds, and some library's have toys you can check out.

Buy childrens toys at the yard sales. With a good wash most things can be almost new again.

Cut down or cut out your cable tv.

Give less gifts.

Find as many gifts on sale through out the year for birthdays and Christmas.

Have homemade parties.

Make homemade gifts.

Make your own greeting cards.

Make Christmas about family and friends. Give less gifts and more time to people.

Use less shampoo and you don't have to rinse and repeat.

Generic prescriptions are inexpensive saving you sometimes in the 100's of dollars per 1 prescription.
