Attic Fans - These pull air from the outside in. They are very powerful and work great. Sun Watching - Where does the sun shine in on hot days? Use blinds, curtains, and even shade trees or a trellis to shade your windows. Maintain your Air conditoner yearly! and change your filters regularly about every 30 days. Drying your clothes on the line. Keeps your house cool and saves money. Wash your clothes in cold water. Clean your refrigerators coils at least 4 times a year. Use Solar lights outside your house. Use crock pots and microwaves instead of the oven. Even better make a solar oven and use that on sunny days. Groceries - Catch all the sales on Grocery items Buy Store Brands or generic Make a list Use less dishwashing and laundry soap. Don't buy soda Plan to eat your leftovers.
